A Finnish musician Juha-Matti Rautiainen releases an ambient album in December 2016 which has been composed and performed live in its entirety by using only effected bass guitar.
Rautiainen has been working for years as a professional bass player in Finland. He cut the tip of his right index finger in an accident on New year’s Day in 2014, and afterwards he got the idea of composing ambient music by using his primary instrument exclusively.
”The Endless Now – Music for Stagnation” –album’s music is organic, minimalistic and meditative. Instead of the traditional musical elements the music concentrates on the refinement of slowly evolving moods and various textures. Since the music is originally conceived and performed live, concerts are a vital part of Rautiainen’s artistry. Playing every note alone with a vast array of pedals, he is able to take live-ambient act into a totally new level.
Rautiainen has been playing bass guitar professionally for over 15 years on stage and in studio in various bands of various genres. Today he works as an instrument teacher in Kaustinen college of music and tries to be a good father for two daughters.

Whether working on film scores, jingles, or background music for websites, commercials. video games and other projects, Rosen is a collaborator who loves coming up with the perfect music for any given situation. He has been applauded for his quality, efficiency and most of all, his ability to know what music will work best the particular scene.
With his albums such as 'Echoes In The Dark', 'An Unseen Sky', and the 2016 release 'Head Like Fire', he gets to explore the sounds and genres that have influenced him and his work. Rosen’s influences come from every corner of the world of music including film scores and alternative rock, as well as industrial and electronic sounds. When creating his original songs, he gets to not only show off his work, but create the kind of music he loves to listen to himself. His albums are also an opportunity for him to collaborate with talented filmmakers on music videos, some of which have gone on to screen and win awards at film festivals all over the world.
"Devil" is off Rosen's third album of instrumental music. He says: "As with a lot of my music, my biggest influences are The Cure, Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails, as well as film and game scores. As for accomplishments, the first music video from the album, "Butterfly," has already been named an Official Selection of two film festivals, one in Arizona and one in Poland. It's also almost to 5000 plays and has grown quicker than any of my previous music videos from my last two albums. I also have four other music videos currently in the works with filmmakers from around the country. I originally wasn't going to release my 3rd album so quickly, but with the success of "Butterfly" and the fact that I already had the songs pretty much done I figured it's time to get this thing out there. I've had a really busy year composing music for films (multiple features and shorts), and I'm really excited to be back out there promoting an album of new music."

DANI grew up in a small town in Alberta, Canada and spent her youth studying various styles of dance and was classically trained in both voice and piano. Once she turned 18 and realized that Alberta could not elevate her music career, she made the move to Toronto and spent as much time as possible developing her sound.
Berlina are an alt-rock band based in Madrid, Spain, which formed in 2007. Their music touches upon a wide variety of genres, from shoegaze to dream pop, post-rock to psychedelic. Despite the undeniable pop influence, Berlina's music tends to drift towards the experimental. Texture plays a vital role in the band's sound, formed by layers of distortions, ethereal vocals, atmospheric soundscapes and ambitious instrumentals. Composer Alfonso Herrero's lyrics are quite introspective and deal with the constant struggle with shifting emotional states. They have often been compared to Slowdive, Lower Dens, Autolux, Deerhunter, and early The Verve.
Their debut album Desértico has been released by Grabaciones a Montones (Spain) and The Burros Discos (Colombia) in the current year, and was produced by Manuel Cabezalí (Havalina), as well as their previous works. “Desértico” features eleven new songs and represent a personal approach to genres such as shoegaze, dreampop, psychedelia and post-rock.

Marva Von Theo is an Electropop / Synthwave duo formed in 2016 by the Athens-based singer-songwriter Marva Voulgari and the Vienna-based composer-producer Theo Foinidis.
