Rednew

As a song, 'Damn' is about the power play between two people. The magnetism, the seduction… It’s about desire and heartbreak, about someone who has a hold on you. Red Rosamond grew up listening to stars like Aretha Franklin, Dinah Washington, Al Green & Tina Turner. Inspired by their work, with every song she writes, she aims to be true.

FAKE DESIGNERS

"Frenzy, melancholy, fake ideas designers"

Fake Designers is a Post Rock instrumental project from Mexico City.

The band creates instrumental songs that, suddenly, at any moment, pass from completely quite moments to energetic and loud moments. There is no more intention in their sound than letting the listener to create his/her own stories or images by itself, without the needing of a lyric to drive their thinking. It is because of these features that the audience and media have called them "Mesmerizing music creators, fake ideas designers".

Fake designers worked along with the production support of a great musician Alex Otaola for the album "Silent Revolution"

Debut single - Change Of Heart by Vaness

2016-10-16 21:37:58 UTC

Vaness

We all know how it goes; you fall in love, you get hurt, you get your heart broken, and sometimes you feel like you'll never love again. But then one day you wake  up and realize its only as bad as you let it be. That's what this song represents. It's the second chance you give yourself to love and to feel love.

Vaness worked with Director Walu of Capitol Agent Media to capture the raw passion of the song and translate it into video format. Keeping it simple, pointed and focused, they were able to represent the duality one faces while having a change of heart.

The video starts as Vaness wakes up to face another day. She must look herself in the mirror over some issues that are weighing heavy on her  heart. She decides that she  must make a change."

Review for 52 by Orellana

Orellana is a neo-classical/post-rock collective hailing from Bristol, UK. Their new album “52”, released in late December, brought in the new year with it’s explosive and intricate sound. The project’s music transcends genre definitions in order to focus on a broad, diverse concept that is more emotional than tangible. This particular release is full of rich and diverse arrangements, but it is also a powerful exercise in minimalism, one that showcases the strength of very few notes placed in the right spots. The simplicity of the arrangement is actually one of the strongest aspects of this entire release: there’s a palpable stillness created by the long, drone notes in the background, which almost makes you feel like the world is happening in slow motion. When the chords and notes change, it feels quite monumental due to the beautiful contrast between the stillness of the background textures and the expressive sound of the guitar-based melodies.
