Based out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Nick Anderson has a voice that takes you into the deepest parts of yourself. At the age of 17, he was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder that leads to depression. As he sat in his basement lost in the darkness of his own mind, a song came on the radio that made him feel like he wasn’t alone. This moment, along with the tools he discovered to manage his mind, solidified a career in music.
As a mental health advocate, and an honest writer, Nick Anderson plays reflective music that digs deep into the emotion of the millennial dreamer, pursuing a style that blends alternative, folk, and power-pop with deep lyrical introspection. His influence is drawn from the likes of John Mayer and James Bay.
His newest release, EPHREM I & II, is a six-track release that puts Anderson's lyrical and songwriting talents on display, backed by his band The Skinny Lovers. Nick wrote the release in an apartment in the basement of an old tire factory called Banbury Place that had a good price. It had one single window peering just above the sidewalk outside. It went on to receive a great response on radio, charting number 1, 12, and 18 in Florida, 8 in Massachusetts, and 24 in Iowa.
Nick has opened for Cartel, The Summer Set, This Providence, and The Millenium, as well as toured the Midwest with platinum selling rock band Saving Abel (Addicted, 18 Days). He has also secured sponsorships with Reverend Guitars and Dean Markley Strings, in addition to working with mastering engineers Emily Lazar and Randy Merrill (Foo Fighters, Beyonce, Adele, Bieber).
The new EP from Lunar Lander Dance Commander (LLDC) “Liquid Smooth”, is a Synth Rock synergy that showcases the band's personality to the highest degree with a captivating and natural texture in production, while retaining the grit of a modern rock band. Similar to artists like The B-52s or Metric, this eccentric and talented group will definitely leave a good impression and a desire for more.
"We are so excited to have released our debut EP upon the world! Fun fact: It is called "Liquid Smooth" because this was originally the name that Chris and Donny wanted to call the band. Steph and Steve didn't like the name so we all compromised and decided to name the debut EP this instead. We all agreed that Lunar Lander Dance Commander was a kick ass name for the band so we went with that in the end. Woo, team work!!

"Come Alive" is a track from Floridian rockers The Hails, off their debut EP "Impel ".
The Hails, a five-piece rock band from Gainesville, Florida, have been together for less than two years. In this short time, they’ve been building a fan base around the state of Florida, with concentrations in Gainesville and Miami. Their first EP, Impel, was released July 20, 2017. With a sound that has been compared to Radiohead, but isn’t confined to one genre, The Hails’ music captures the attention of a variety of listeners. As one music blogger put it, “Their sound is a fresh cross between the grit of classic rock with the smooth undertones of new age alternative.”
“Impel is a collection of five songs that we felt really good about from multiple standpoints,” lead singer Robbie Kingsley says. “There’s a cohesiveness to the project, but every song is different from the next. We’re proud of it and we want to hear what the world thinks.”
In the month or so that the five-song EP has been out, the band has already been receiving attention for their work. The Hails were asked to appear on NBC 6 in Miami for a live performance to celebrate the release of Impel. The band continues to gig heavily in Gainesville, as they have been preparing to take their show all across the country.
The Brothers Moore are brothers Bobby and Billy Moore from Tulsa, Oklahoma. The brothers just released their debut EP, Careless, this month. In 2016, The brotherly duo then cultivated a new sound and acquired partnered musicians Troy Smith (guitar) and Jake White (drums) to form The Brothers Moore. After a series of sold out shows, The Brothers Moore have released their debut EP, Careless. Rising from acoustical side-gigs to a full-on studio band, The Brothers Moore have evolved into a fierce act.
A combination of retro aesthetics, enduring lyrics and alt-rock grit.
The best music happens when artists refuse to remain stuck in their own comfort zones and creative boxes. Whenever this happens, they are free to give full range to their vision, and they can really come up with something that’s groundbreaking and personable. This is certainly the case here with Tommy Red and his brand new EP release, “I Wanna Be Exploited.”
