Pipe Dream” is the third Jet Plane album. Its mood, emotions and imagery have been inspired by events going on around us – in the here and now. Beautiful airy tunes entwine into an atmosphere of tension and dismay, ethereality and featheriness are followed by a vibrant crescendo. Peace and harmony seem a pipe dream; but it has long been considered just as inapproachable for a man to hit the skies and fly. So let us dream.
Classic post-rock harmonies enframed by violin remind of Mogwai and Yndi Halda. Apart from that, Jet Plane employ bagpipes and nyckelharpa, which is the band’s specialty distinguishing them from the rest. The album sound has been also moulded by famous Japanese musicians and sound producers Takahiro Kido and Kashiwa Daisuke having worked on album’s mixing and mastering.

Dubtrak, recording artist and music producer from Toronto, Canada has been delivering his unique blend of dub, global beats and trippy psytrance electronica since 2008.
Dubtrak’s music has been compared to The Orb, Underworld, Banco de Gaia and the like, but with extra organic ingredients, some exotic spices and unexpected twists.
"Out of thin air" is Dubtrak's 5th full-length release. It represents quite a departure from earlier, bass-heavy, psy-dub oriented grooves, found on the previous releases. Here Dubtrak experiments with some samples from those earlier albums but the sound goes through an ambient treatment, heavily processed into epic dream-like soundscape, as imagined through the prism of Dubtrak's other project, Intersonic Subformation.

From Mountains are a new 4 piece instrumental post rock band from Buckinghamshire, UK. With soaring guitar, delicate piano and a driving rhythm section 'From Mountains' piece together an emotive cinematic soundscape experience. Couple this with live projection of the 1982 classic 'Koyaanisqatsi' , their performances act as a live soundtrack to a visually breath taking film. The debut 5 track EP was recorded live in the epic surroundings of Wittington House near High Wycombe and mixed & mastered in The Lodge Studios, Northampton. October 2016

On Saturday, May 20, multi-instrumentalist and lauded bass player Erik Kramer released his debut studio endeavor, an EP entitled ‘Missed the Boat.’ The Brooklyn-based musician has an especially eclectic sound, one that employs the talent of a slew of musicians: saxophone, trombone, viola, trumpet, back-up vocalists - they’re all there. An experimental record through and through, ‘Missed the Boat’ is an indie record quite unlike anything else that’s come across my desk in recent months.
