Party like a Fireman" is a nonstop sonic journey of madness spanning just over an hour, with an overall beat driven, industrial, and darker ambient tone than some of our previous releases. That's not to say it's all doom and gloom. There are serval upbeat and comical moments, but they all eventually veer into an uncomfortable waking dream state.

Dubtrak, recording artist and music producer from Toronto, Canada has been delivering his unique blend of dub, global beats and trippy psytrance electronica since 2008.
Dubtrak’s music has been compared to The Orb, Underworld, Banco de Gaia and the like, but with extra organic ingredients, some exotic spices and unexpected twists.
"Out of thin air" is Dubtrak's 5th full-length release. It represents quite a departure from earlier, bass-heavy, psy-dub oriented grooves, found on the previous releases. Here Dubtrak experiments with some samples from those earlier albums but the sound goes through an ambient treatment, heavily processed into epic dream-like soundscape, as imagined through the prism of Dubtrak's other project, Intersonic Subformation.
Somewhere at the intersection of modern classical, ambient, and post-rock, Philadelphia-based guitarist Patkus evokes nostalgia and contemplation through pulsating swirls of melody that pierce through clouds of harmonic distortion. “These Are But Dreaming Men, Breathe and They Fade” is Patkus’ third full-length album, building upon the idiosyncratic blend of influences and composition techniques heard on 2015’s “Colors.” Dedicated to the loss of his beloved grandmother, “These Are But Dreaming Men, Breathe and They Fade” mirrors Patkus’ journey from loss to acceptance; a search for catharsis tinged with hope.

Even though the independent rock scene is quite inundated with new acts, there’s always a welcome place for an outfit that changes the formula enough to be consistently interesting and worth taking notice of. The New York-based alternative rock group Voices from Deep Below attempts to do just that, fusing together a variety of styles into a surprisingly coherent sound. Their new record, “I Want to Stand Where the Sun Himself Shakes with Fear”, is a five song album that navigates alt-rock, experimental, and borderline metal and progressive influences all at the same time.
