Both Jade River and Deeskee have done a lot musically over the years, but they seem to be just getting started with...Zero Gravity. Jade River has had a busy couple of years releasing projects with Ariano, 2mex, Philieano, and his long-time friend and collaborator, Deeskee. Deeskee, known for founding LA2thebay, has released several albums and worked with underground crews like the Visionaries, The Shape Shifters, and Living Legends. His hip-hop style is about touching the abstract and experimental scene. Jade River, returning from the release of his single, "Wrong Side," delivers his fine-tuned production with Deeskee's roots in the LA scene. The process of this album results in a true blend of styles. Deeskee's live and sequenced arrangements allow Jade River to stand out with his bass-heavy, drum knocking presence. The album weaves in-between solo tracks where they both show off their own methods. Mixing the solo efforts with collaborative songs makes the project feel connected and unique. Listen to the styles of Jade River and Deeskee powerfully collide on Zero Gravity

Many of us fantasize over living a life that we have always desired. On her new single "Presidential," off of her upcoming EP "Gold Decisions," Cakes does just that. She paints a vivid picture for the world to see that if you want it, you have got to go get it. Steering clear of drama, focusing on your money, and taking charge are indications of what being Presidential is all about. "Presidential" video coming soon.
Cakes is more than just your typical female artist with an alluring look. She’s notably one of the most versatile rappers/songstress coming from Virginia, with a manner that is delivering a breath of fresh air to many genres in the music scene. Her rebel style can be heard through her songs such as “Who Gon Check Me”, “Vibez”, and her reputable party anthem, “My Section.” Throughout her music, Cakes conveys her struggles with growing up as a woman consumed in a man’s world; in turn, giving strength and encouragement to women worldwide.
Brooklyn poet/MC Ursa Major releases "Polaris". The EP features an edgy blend of conceptual storytelling, lyricism of the golden era, and the songwriting chops of a modern artist pushing the genre forward. Making a statement and etching his place in Hip Hop, Ursa Major dares to push the limits and frames his artistry beyond the average concept of the genre. Each track rides a rhythm and tests those encouraged to push The Label Noir to the next level. Featured tracks are Far From Home, produced by Highly Affiliated; Only the Best produced by Khaleel Deal; Starry Night produced by Ktha1; Window Seat II produced by Highly Affiliated; and Polaris produced by Theme Music.
This new song "Bakkah: The History of Humankind", was initially just a poem about humanity as a whole. When it began to rhyme Emay basically just ran with it. It was also a great opportunity for him to experiment with his writing as he was always self-conscious about using a more poetic/metaphorical style of writing so with this track Ihe allowed myself to get completely lost in that form.
For the video, him and the director, Aaron Hall, bounced a lot of ideas off of each other and eventually Aaron thought of using riot gear for the video. The video is a battle displaying Emay's ideological development and the conflict of ideas taking over and building off of one another.
Escuri has been actively producing and performing experimental music in the Philippines. He released several EP which include Parallel Worlds (2013), a compilation of avant-garde analog sound works which took inspiration from the literary works of Haruki Murakami and Kobo Abe; Coloring Book (2015), a collection of purely digital audio works; and ORBIT21 (2016), a collaborative sound work with music producers from California, UK, Texas, Netherlands and London.
His musical works has been featured in local radio stations and publication. His current musical project involves performing electronic music in various settings (public, semi-public and private spaces) in an attempt to explore how these physical spaces contribute to and/or affect sound and performance. In addition, the project also explores how synthetic sounds interact with natural sounds and how this interaction affect the binaural perception of the listeners . Other on-going projects include field recordings with visual artists .
He is part of Pixel Collective, a local group of emerging digital/electronic/analog/lo-fi musicians; and Buwan Buwan Collective, a record label dedicated to unearthing substantial electronic art forms.
A collaboration Purveyr and adidas Originals.
Around August 2016, they roamed around the streets of Escolta, Philippines and did a soundwalk.
This opportunity paved way in exploring field recordings. In the process, they recorded ambient sounds and collaborated with the locals by asking them to do rhythmic beats using familiar objects (coins, hammer, basketball and even coffee machine!)
Like photography, music also has the power to capture a moment, make it eternal and deliver euphoria and nostalgic memories.
GroundBurst is an instrumental rock trio whose sound strikes for the band’s kaleidoscopic approach and wide-open mindset. The band consists of Phil, Si, and Erik, respectively on guitars, bass & keys, and drums. These three talented musicians set out to create a lush, diverse and textural musical backdrop, borrowing from influences as diverse as electronic music, psychedelia, rock and even jazz with a minimalistic flair. Their recent release, “Triad” is an EP featuring 3 original compositions, as the title of the release might lead you to guess!
These Are Truly The Last Days is a musical project with a driven experimental twist. Their music blurs the lines between various genres, including ambient, electronica, glitch hop, and more. The project’s self-titled studio effort features 11 studio tracks.
