In the middle of México, in the Capital of the Country, north of the so called “City of Hope” Rafael Gtz. Under the nickname: Elvaan Ibanfure rises as an alternative with a totally aggressive, contradictory and defiant proposal for the social context in which it develops.
Elvaan Ibanfure, with a long career as a musician and singer with some of the most unique and original bands in México (All You Hate) and Arda is now exploring the music world as a solo artist, confronting his own mind and maturity, maturity that has been cause and result of some series of tragedies and events that, with time, allowed him to extend his consciousness and made him aware about social decadency, which goes over borders and infest the whole planet.
Upon the reality in which he lives, a strong feeling of impotence arises, that began to take form in his mind and heart, in front of the apparent inevitable destruction of life, men, nature and universal virtues, and then realizing that the only possible way to make a significant change in the environment, it’s creating a massive “wake up” expressed in one of the branches of the human language… Music.
Elvaan then created a rich universe in which all of his songs take place, the world of "Nothing" where an accidental god soon realizes that his creation should not be taken lightly.

Several demo songs are now under his sleeve, and now Elvaan Ibanfure launches his first official material, under the name of "The Wolves Are No Longer Howling". A 5 minute instrumental opus that transcends the borders of Rock & Metal, showing the world, his unique and singular style of aggressiveness, despair, pain, hate, love and thirst of justice and change. With catchy and powerful guitars, deep and vibrant bass lines, explosive drums charged with rhythm and the finesse and class of strings and brass sections makes it clear that this is music for the intelligent, music for the elite. This is his new vision of Metal, his particular vision of Music.
Nathan Kairis is a composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Asheville, NC. He crafts pieces of music made to bounce off all the nearest peaks of the Appalachian Mountains, like shouting at those surrounding monoliths and listening to the evolution of your own echoes. Each of Nathan’s compositions are reflective, expansive, and imaginative in a different manner than the last. The excitement at the first tremble of thunder, the loneliness of a tundra stretching forever before you, the gentle joy of life with loved ones, and the dynamic interplay between all of these feelings. That is the music of Nathan Kairis.
Acherontia. The Death’s Head Hawkmoth. This album is about disconnection, reconnection, and fluttering between the two. The vibrations between these two emotions can be violent and visceral, or almost calming in their agitation. Here is where we find the shuffling trudge of “Solipsism”, straining pressure of “Surface Tension”, and the breakthrough of the title track. Acherontia is a sonic exploration of what happens in between, a transitory stage that most of us just want to get through.

This is how NH-born composer Brad Couture crafts his music from start to finish - writing, playing, recording, and mixing all his own material in the isolation of his studio. From the first hammer strike on piano string, to the last synthesizer wrapping up all in a warm blanket, his sonic structures are constructed with care - emotionally inspired and acoustically defined.
From the sparse, ambient piano arrangements stretching to full orchestral swells backed by chiming guitars, his melodically driven songs weave uplifting crescendos with melancholic introspection to paint cinematic soundscapes.
With the release of Brad’s new album, Lower Tones, Brad has drawn additional inspiration from neo-classical styles of composition, replacing some the roaring guitars and pounding drums of previous releases with the gentle swells of ambient noise and solo cello. Lower Tones provides the perfect atmosphere to plug in earphones, and unplug from the world.

Montreal experimental band AIM LOW is set to release Scratched Out on 12" format, a record that has been plagued with numerous issues from disappearing band members, lost recording stems, a messed up vinyl test pressing, artwork problems, and numerous other issues. Toss in a hospital visit (via ambulance, no less), and you can understand why the band is happy to finally release this three song collection of dense shoegaze-y drone density in the vein of early-Sonic Youth, Nadja, and Rhys Chatham. Lead off track "Tacit Approval" sets the sound for their forthcoming full length, currently being mixed by Jon Drew, bridging the more experimental nature of their now sold out CD-R Foulards and sold out cassette String Theory with a more structured sound based around the controlled chaos surrounding fuzzed out crackling spoken word vocals. The 12"'s centerpiece "Low Hanging Fruit" was recorded in a church in Montreal West to capture as much natural reverb possible to achieve a contextual Beach Boy sound, complete with "oooh" vocals that are heavily processed with the band's penchant for knob-twiddling effects pedals. And closing track "Phantom Cat" is a twelve minute highway ride of multiple layers and textures in the key of A with lung-straining chanting.
AIM LOW has previously played with the likes of Disappears, Weekend, Moon Duo, and Stephen O'Malley, and plan to support Scratched Out with more dates and a tour in the late Summer of 2017.

Marva Von Theo is an Electropop / Synthwave duo formed in 2016 by the Athens-based singer-songwriter Marva Voulgari and the Vienna-based composer-producer Theo Foinidis.
Their Debut Album “Dream within a Dream” was released early in 2018. The 12 songs on their Album, lean towards an electronic sound that incorporates a variety of influences ranging from the music of the 80’s until today.
