The Great Long Distance is an audible recollection of the first 12 months of a long distance relationship, including the highs and lows and moments in between. It is a journal without words, each of the 12 tracks representing each month respectively. Inspired by the format of NIN's "Ghosts I-IV", the album is a sonic tapestry of different moods and themes, with various recurring motifs and the subtle melding of synthesizer and samples; the result something not quite classical, ambient or electronic - rather, an eclectic blend of the three. For fans of Ólafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm and later Ulver.
Sundaug is the pseudonym for Philadelphia-based composer and performer Steve Bonitatibus.. Steve became interested in percussive fingerstyle guitar early on in his playing days and even studied guitar performance during his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia. While his first two albums — Empyrean Fantasy (2013) and Nocturnality (2015) — featured music that could be likened to contemporary guitarists such as Andy McKee and Kaki King, his latest effort marks a shift towards post-rock.
"To Bloom, To Wither" is Sundaug's third, full-length album. Unlike his previous two works, which featured primarily solo acoustic numbers, this album embraces a heavier, post-rock sound. Using a wide array of eclectic instrumental textures, To Bloom, To Wither attempts to blend the soothing timbres of modern acoustica with the more blaring sounds of rock music. The album was officially released on February 24th, 2017, and is available in music stores and across streaming platforms.
Lazybones Flame Kids is a four-piece post-rock band from Sardinia. They mix the atmospheric touches of instrumental rock with the emotional pull of classic post-rock repetitive arpeggios. Their music is mainly instrumental, although sometimes they scream and whisper in a typical narrative mood. Their debut album L.F.K has been released in February 2016 under Coypu Records Recorded at Corlo (FE), at Emanuele Fusaroli’s recording studio with artistic producer Gabriele Boi (The Rippers and The Mojomatics). The album was anticipated by the singles A Ride in an Amusement Park, a tribute to one of the best American stand-up comedians of all time, Bill Hicks, and Too Close, a collaboration with the Sardinian folksinger Beeside. L.F.K is all live recorded, with few overdubs, and it is a completely analogical album. Theband decided to use mixers, instruments and echo tapes from 60s-70s to give the album original vintage sounds and atmospheres with evocative texture and fragile, solemn, compact and fascinating song.
Interns’ first incarnation came to be in 2013 as a side-project between bassist Christian Harris and guitarist Andrew Reinhardt while playing together in the Louisiana-based jazz collective The Telegraph Salesmen, along with the leader of the group, Carter MacFarland, on drums. Many of the songs featured on Vanity Mirror were written during this time period.
The group dissolved in 2014, as Harris and Reinhardt separated geographically. After a three year hiatus, the two found themselves both living in Austin, Texas. With the addition of drummer James Bauer and guitarist Cole McDonnell, the group began to rework and refine the existing material, as well as write new music. The music combines the atmospheric nature of modern post-rock built around a classic psych framework.
Interns recorded their first studio album Vanity Mirror at Earthship Studios in Baton Rouge, with recording engineer and producer Benjamin Livingston. The album features guest musicians Sungkyung Woo, violin, Blayke Weatherford, vibraphone, and Carter MacFarland, keyboards.
Vanity Mirror was released on February 21st, 2017, and is available on all major streaming platforms. A physical release is to follow.
Interns aim to frame the ambient, spacey goodness of post-rock around a structure that is easily digestible for listeners of any background. Like much of their peers, they forego lyrics in an attempt to let their instruments convey their thoughts and emotion.

Marva Von Theo is an Electropop / Synthwave duo formed in 2016 by the Athens-based singer-songwriter Marva Voulgari and the Vienna-based composer-producer Theo Foinidis.
Their Debut Album “Dream within a Dream” was released early in 2018. The 12 songs on their Album, lean towards an electronic sound that incorporates a variety of influences ranging from the music of the 80’s until today. Darkwave sounds, Jazz harmonies, Rock and Dance drum beats resonate together and mature into something darkly romantic.
