Vinyl Enemy by The Velocity Raptors

The Velocity Raptors are the instrumental brain child of Manchester’s own, Sean Buckley. The Raptors are valiantly fighting post rock seriousness through sprightly, punk rock inspired 2 minute instrumental pop songs. Forgotten are the damp, laboured structures of the instrumental genre and in their stead are brazen, shamelessly fun guitar licks and melodies for the less discerning music critic.

Formed in 2008, Arms That Fit Like Legs are an independent instrumental-rock/postrock/electronic band from Dublin, Ireland. Initially a 4-piece of Mike Mahon (Guitar), Mark Lynch (Guitar), Gordon McCaughley (Bass) and Michael McCaughley (Drums), their self-titled debut EP was released in September 2009.

In 2010, the band became a trio, replacing acoustic drums with electronic beats. Their mini-album, 'Plane Figures', was then released on 10 December 2011.

On 'Plane Figures', Irish Times music writer Jim Carroll said, "Fans of post-rock instrumental wig-outs and brain-funk will dig this, especially the intriguing diversions which lead track “Bear Shark Explosion” takes."

After a brief hiatus of a few years while some of the band lived in London, they started writing music/performing again in 2016. In January 2018, they released the track 'You Will Go On My First Whistle' , and are set to release their first full-length album 'Legwork', later in 2018.

"Echoes Across The Sky" was formed in late 2011 as an alternate project for musician Craig Siegelbaum. Craig known mostly for his guitar work in rock bands Supergenius and Half Circle Drive as well as his solo guitar instrumental project. With "Echoes Across The Sky," Craig broadens his musical landscape. In fact there is very little guitar used in the music. It's a more of a piano and string based sound with thunderous drums and bass. The debut EP is was released in October 2012. The EP was very well received. With downloads from all over the world already. Echoes Across The Sky is just starting to take off. The debut full length album "The Growing Distance" was released on 5.5.15 and is available at all digital retailers. The sophomore album "Rise" was released 1.1.18 and is also available at all digital retailers and streaming services.

New album You Can't Be Forgotten If You Were Never Known by Space Rabbit

2018-01-10 06:40:23 UTC

Rs

Three guys with various musical influences that have come together to make music. "We grew tired of having creative boundaries limited by previous bands and so this is an outlet for everything we never had a chance to play before. "

The last gasping breath from a fun, weird experiment of personal styles and musical tastes. Always having something to say but no one to say it to, this last batch of songs serves as the unmarked grave for three unlovable losers who enjoyed making loud noises. 100% DIY from the beginning but this last batch should hopefully be the best mixed at least thanks to some light reading and Reaper mixing software.

New track Of Course It's All Things by Lowercase Noises

This song is from a new EP Lowercase Noises will be releasing in the coming months.

" I took a very different songwriting approach this time around and limited myself to only guitar and synthesizer (with one exception on one track). These songs are slow, simple and unassuming. I wrote them all very quickly after getting back from my last house show tour in a somewhat unprecedented burst of creativity and excitement. I'm very happy with how everything turned out."

Review for the new EP "I Wanna Be Exploited" by Tommy Red

A combination of retro aesthetics, enduring lyrics and alt-rock grit. The best music happens when artists refuse to remain stuck in their own comfort zones and creative boxes. Whenever this happens, they are free to give full range to their vision, and they can really come up with something that’s groundbreaking and personable. This is certainly the case here with Tommy Red and his brand new EP release, “I Wanna Be Exploited.”
