DHH are Aurora Atzeni, born in Cagliari (Italy), in 1986 and Nicola Olla, born in Iglesias (italy) in 1987. They both started playing guitar as children before becoming involved by rock music performing in several bands such as Drought, Thank U For Smoking, Charun, and many more. DHH’s debut ep “Ivory” (out in 2013) was a modern songwriting album, driven by gentle airy guitars and soft percussions, where the two voices meet to create dreamy soundscapes. Influenced by electronic, modern and contemporary classical music and shoegaze they slowly evolved their compositions recording in late 2016 an entire soundtrack album called “Perseidi”, out in January 2017.
The italian duo founded by Aurora Atzeni (singer and guitar player in Thank U For Smoking) and Nicola Olla (guitar player in Drought, Charun) are today releasing a soundtrack album, born from the naturalistic event "Perseidi" in Sardinia (Italy). On 10 August every year, during the perseids meteor shower, the band plays an acoustic set in beautiful specific locations such as Domus De Janas, nuragic necropolises and Nuraghe houses. These songs reassume the last years performances through an electriconic-oriented approach.
Turquoise Noise is an LA-based alt-rock quintet with a penchant for spooky grooves and soaring choruses. Their live show is an experience that takes the audience through the full range of moods displayed in their skillfully crafted debut effort. They recorded the album at Lavish Studios, owned by the late Scott Weiland, who also invited them to open his sold-out show at the El Rey Theatre.
The band has received airplay multiple times on Mark Sovel's 95.5 KLOS Check 1..2 radio show, and they've been featured on blogs such as Alternative Nation, Birp!, Buzzbands.LA, and Obscure Sound, among others. Lead singer Evan Snyder is a model signed with NTA and has appeared in ads for Urban Outfitters and Bacardi.
Sea Yarns is an unconventional pop/post rock project from Providence, RI.
Sea Yarns - Death of a Giant EP is a modern take on instrumental surf music for places that are not necessarily sunny or sandy. As a fan on old surf music from the early 60's, I wanted to make surf music that is more relevant by todays standards that represent the cold, seasonal, moody, rocky shoreline that I know and grew up next to, rather than the sunny and sandy all the time beaches and surf culture of southern California in the 60's, which I know nothing about.
Recorded in batches over a couple of years, Anna, don't disappear is the 2nd album from Toronto band Red Nightfall and features the continued maturation and morphing of the sound they developed on their 2011 self-titled debut and 2013 EP Late in the Fever.
GroundBurst is an instrumental rock trio whose sound strikes for the band’s kaleidoscopic approach and wide-open mindset. The band consists of Phil, Si, and Erik, respectively on guitars, bass & keys, and drums. These three talented musicians set out to create a lush, diverse and textural musical backdrop, borrowing from influences as diverse as electronic music, psychedelia, rock and even jazz with a minimalistic flair. Their recent release, “Triad” is an EP featuring 3 original compositions, as the title of the release might lead you to guess!
These Are Truly The Last Days is a musical project with a driven experimental twist. Their music blurs the lines between various genres, including ambient, electronica, glitch hop, and more. The project’s self-titled studio effort features 11 studio tracks.
