The full EP, 'Coping Strategies' just released on & Options (Cassette and digital). It explores erosion of meaning and collective anxiety, and people’s attempts at dealing with those things. People seem to be finding the world an increasingly overwhelming and absurd place. Noticing how they deal with that has been finding its way into my CARES' work.
"I only knew what this EP was about after it was finished. I approach writing with an idea about a sound or a vague feeling or imagery but leave the concepts open ended to try to write in a more abstract and subconscious way. I’m really excited to release something on & Options because I think they're doing something really interesting with the catalog they’re building. The label is Toronto based but a lot of the music they are putting out is from all over the world. There is a really bold mix of ideas from their roster so far and I'm happy to add to it."

'sunday sketches' is the sixth album recorded by Chris Woodyard. In this compilation of live tracks he erases the lines that separate poetry, artwork and music.
A story without words that interpret the collection of emotions, places and experiences that he's had the pleasure to endure. After releasing 'Glass House", an experimental post-rock EP recorded in Boulder, CO last year ; The sounds in this next album will be songs translated from a series of paintings he's done. The first song is a prelude to the LP which will be released next year

Davenport Rex is a music project based in Detroit, Michigan. Their sound is diverse and challenging, yet accessible and appealing. The band’s music stands out as a combination of tasteful progressive rock, with shades of various influences, ranging from alternative to symphonic hard rock, just to mention a few.
GroundBurst is an instrumental rock trio whose sound strikes for the band’s kaleidoscopic approach and wide-open mindset. The band consists of Phil, Si, and Erik, respectively on guitars, bass & keys, and drums. These three talented musicians set out to create a lush, diverse and textural musical backdrop, borrowing from influences as diverse as electronic music, psychedelia, rock and even jazz with a minimalistic flair. Their recent release, “Triad” is an EP featuring 3 original compositions, as the title of the release might lead you to guess!
